Weekend brag

It was sunny in Seattle this weekend. On Saturday.

And even though Sunday was mostly cloudy, it was hot and not raining.

So it looked a lot like this.

And this.





Check out the dog in this last picture. He's on the left. We sat and watched him play in the fountain for no less than an hour. Drenched and jumping into the streams--mouth gaping--trying to eat the water and the coolness and the summer joy.

Oh. And I made some more cowls.

One for myself and one for a friend.

Because sometimes you have yarn leftover from the super awesome relationship-threatening sweater.  And you just can't stop.

I feel like a kid

with a new box of crayons.

All that hope and ambition wrapped up in embroidery floss. Because this girl is becoming an embroidery-ing addict. Watch out world. Anything that isn't strapped down will soon be embellished with these delicious threads.
